1. Call Meeting to Order at 7:03 pm. Those present: Brian Takala via phone, Jed Keenan, Sandy Johnson, Bill Cochran, Jill Washkuhn and Linda Asp community member 2. Pledge of Allegiance agenda posted on 2/9/2026 at the Town Hall, Outback Bar, Tranus Lake RD, and the Website by Jill Washkuhn township clerk 3. Agenda reviewed, motion made to approve made by Brian Takala, 2nd by Jed Keenan 4. Review of Treasurer’s Report presented by Sandy Johnson she has received taxes and dog tags, CD will be due April will review at April meeting. Discussed money market account vs CD. Sandy Johnson will look into if a town is able to have a money market account. Motion made to accept report made by Jed Keenan , 2nd by Brian Takala. All in favor. 5. Reviewed Regular Town Board Meeting Minutes from January, motion made to accept as presented made by Brian Takala 2nd by Jed Keenan. All approved. Review of special town board meeting minutes motion to accept as presented made by Jed Keenan, 2nd by Brian Takala all favor. 6. Public Input: None at this meeting 7. Highway Construction and Maintenance Report/signage: In the month of January roads have been treated with sand, plowed and scraped. Road winter cleanup is 12,110 for the winter season. Driveway plow paid out as much as collected. 8. Facilities Report: Jed Keenan and Bill Cochran plan to install fire extinguishers. 9. Specific Matters for Discussion and/or Action: Reviewed Town of Stinnett Record Policy reviewed motion made to approve Jed Keenan 2nd Brian Takala - all in favor- Policy will be signed and posted. Five-year road plan reviewed, part of the LRIP requirements to have a road plan motion made to approve Bill Cochran 2nd by Jed Keenan. All in favor. Reviewed Fire Protection Agreement from the Town of Hayward reviewed need for driveway requirements, snow removal requirements, and motion made to approve by Brian Takala, 2nd by Bill Cochran. 10. Correspondence- Letters and Phone Calls Received/ Reservations for Town Hall or Town Park/Upcoming Meetings/Events/Miscellaneous: Hall reserved on 2/21 or 2/22 by Jed Keenan. Town park has been reserved for theGroat/ Meiers reunition on 8-8-226. Discussed 1/28/26 WTA unit meeting topic of stray animals and the town response. Bill Cochran registered for incident response training 5/18/2026. Some board members plan to attend WTA spring meeting. 11. Payment of Vouchers, Statements, and Bills reviewed and signed 12. Next Town Board Meeting March 10 at 7 pm at townhall. 13. Agenda items for next town hall meeting- none reported. 14. The last day to vote an absentee ballot in the clerk's office is: 4/5/2026 (Note: This may be no later than the Sunday before the election.) No in-person absentee voting may occur on the day before the election. The municipal clerk will deliver voted ballots returned on or before Election Day to the proper polling place or counting location before the polls close on 4/7/2026.
