Approved Regular Town Board meeting minutes for 1/13/2026
1. Call Meeting to Order at 7:03, roll call Sandy Johnson, Brian Takala, Jed Keenan Bill Cochran and Jill Washkuhn, Linda Asp community member
2. Pledge of Allegiance agenda posted on 1/4/2026 at the Town Hall, Outback Bar, Tranus Lake RD, and the Website by Jill Washkuhn township clerk
3. Approval of Agenda motion to approve by Brian Takala 2nd by Jed Keenan all approved
4. Review of Treasurer’s Report Sandy Johnson reported taxes are coming in,
5. Reviewed Town Board Meeting Minutes from December, motion made to accept as presented made by Jed Keenan, 2nd by Brian Takala. All approved.
6. Public Input: Washburn County bypass February election, next election planned in April.
7. Highway Construction and Maintenance Report/signage: approval LRIP for Brickman Lake Road this summer.
8. Facilities Report: Bill Cochran purchased a new flag for the hall.
9. Specific Matters for Discussion and/or Action by the Town Board none at time.
10. Correspondence- Letters and Phone Calls Received/ Reservations for Town Hall or Town Park/Upcoming Meetings/Events/Miscellaneous: Hall reserved on 2/21 or 2/22 by Jed Keenan. Groat/ Meiers reunition 8-8-226. Bill Cochran received a call from a town member who reported septic tank cover had been displaced after Statewide plowed driveway, Doug and Josh were able to locate the cover. Washburn county forest department sent letters description for planned timber cutting, Washburn County WTA unit meeting 1/28/26 at 6 pm at Washburn County Court House, 3/18/26 Nation Incident Management meeting ,
11. Payment of Vouchers, Statements, and Bills reviewed and signed
12. Next Town Board Meeting February 10 at 7 pm at townhall.
13. No agenda items for next town hall meeting.
