UNAPPROVED MINUTES STINNETT TOWN BOARD MEETING JULY 13, 2021 – TOWN HALL AGENDA WAS POSTED JULY 10, 2021 AT THE TOWN HALL, OUTBACK BAR, CTY HWY F & TRANUS LAKE RD, AND ON THE TOWN WEBSITE BY KATIE PARKS, CLERK. PRESENT: GARY ELLIOTT, CHAIRMAN; DONALD PLANTE, SUPERVISOR; KATIE PARKS, CLERK AND BILL & NAOMI COCHRAN 1. TREASURER’S REPORT SUBMITTED BY SANDY JOHNSON WAS REVIEWED – FIRST HALF OF THE ARPA COVID RECOVERY FUNDS RECEIVED $13,031.24 – SANDY WILL KEEP US UPDATED. 4. MINUTES FOR THE JUNE 1, 2021 TOWN BOARD MEETING AND THE JUNE 14, 2021 SPECIAL MEETING WERE BOTH REVIEWED. A MOTION TO APPROVE EACH BY DONALD PLANTE, 2ND BY GARY ELLIOTT, MOTION CARRIED. 5. HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE REPORT – BOOM MOWING IS UNDERWAY. NEED TO MOW MORE ROADS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN DONE IN A VERY LONG TIME AND CUT LARGE TREES IN THE SHOULDERS. CHAIRMAN ELLIOTT WILL CHECK ON THE COST WITH TOWN OF CASEY AS THEY HAVE CONTRACTED WITH SOMEONE TO DO TREE REMOVAL BEFORE. 6. PUBLIC INPUT 7. SPECIFIC MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION AND ACTION BY THE TOWN BOARD: A. STATEWIDE BID FOR CHIPPANAZIE RD WAS DISCUSSEDFOR 25’ x 1,555’ (FROM RON OLSON DRIVEWAY TO THE NORTH) PULVERIZING /GRADING/ADD 6” OF GRAVEL, GRADE AND COMPACT. $22,714.00. MOTION TO APPROVE GARY ELLIOTT, 2ND DONALD PLANTE, MOTION CARRIED. B. CLEAN-UP DAY - 34 RESIDENTS DROPPED OFF ITEMS. SEVERAL RETURNED WITH MORE LOADS. THE COST WAS $2,354.00, BUT WILL BE REIMBURSED FOR MOST OF IT FROM THE COUNTY. C. ONE DEHUMIDIFIER WAS RECEIVED FOR THE BASEMENT AND IT WAS DECIDED TO ORDER ANOTHER FOR THE UPSTAIRS AREA IN THE HALL. D. ELIGIBLE ARPA FUNDS FOR THE TOWN OF STINNETT IS $26,062.47. WILL RECEIVE 2ND HALF LATER IN THE YEAR. OUR TREASURER WILL KEEP US POSTED ON WHAT WE CAN USE THESE FUNDS FOR. E. THE TOWN HALL WAS CLEANED AND PRESSURE WASHED AT A COST OF $80.00. 8. CORRESPONDENCE- LETTERS AND PHONE CALLS RECEIVED: A. TOWNHALL – AUG 26TH - REQUEST FROM CAROL BUCK WASHBURN COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT FOR A TABLE-TOP EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS EXERCISE FROM 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM B. TOWN PARK – RESERVATIONS: AUG 7TH GROAT/MEIER FAMILY REUNION SEPT 11TH CLASS OF 1981 REUNION C. MEETINGS – JULY 28TH 7:00 PM COUNTY UNIT MEETING IN THE COUNTY BOARD ROOM. ALL TOWN OFFICIALS ARE INVITED. D. MISCELLANEOUS – 1) WTA WORKSHOPS IN SEPTEMBER THIS YEAR WILL BE IN PERSON. THOSE NOT WANTING TO ATTEND IN PERSON CAN VIEW A WEBINAR LATER IN THE MONTH. COSTS AND RESERVATION FORMS WILL FOLLOW IN AUGUST. 2)INCREASE IN THE PAYMENT TO TOWNS CONTAINING COUNTY FOREST LANDS WILL BRING OUR TOWN APPROXIMATELY $9,091.54 AN INCREASE OF MORE THAN 50%. 9.
